Falamansa is a Brazilian forró band formed in 1998 in the city of São Paulo. With the rise of forró on the nights of the São Paulo capital, a movement arose in the city to meet the demand of nightclubs and teenagers, who immediately identified with the dance and the contagious rhythm of the style.

Besides starting to compose their first songs in the first months of the group, Dezinho, Tato, Alemão and Valdir interpreted hits by Luiz Gonzaga and Jackson do Pandeiro, always mixing the so-called "forró universitário" or "forró pé-de-serra", with the roots of northeastern music. Until 2001, the group had more than 1 million copies sold in Brazil.
